Rain affected match for Niffy

Niffy with a scratch side did very well against title contenders Bombay, the pitch and facilities were diabolical but nevertheless Niffy climbed to 107, the second highest score from a visiting side all season. Steve Smith batted well, as did Rowan Pennwillaims, smashing 38 and 39 respectively.

Some poor keeping from Meggo let two chances slip early on, leaving the opening bowlers/star batsmens, Rowan and Steve wicket-less. Ben Martin and James Popplewell both grabbed a wicket but only as a consolation as Bombay knocked off the target in just19 overs.
