with once again the home skipper having the option of what to do the Niffy invited Dunton to bat on a wicket that was still in good knick but was a touch damp after unexpected rain during the night..... things didnt start to well with joey struggling for his line feeding Weaver 3 leg side 4's, Sharpey was his undoing thou finding the leading edge for Gibbo to swoop and almost spill the chance joey thou in his third started to find his areas and in his forth he claimed the wicket of Miller finding the edge and badger doing the rest, Joey then claimed his second bowling Fahim with a yorker, Sharpey at the other end was being put off by the umpire no-balling him (first time all season) which was a shame as it put him off his line so the skipper made the change and gave Waggy the ball who once again was soon into his stride bowling both Fisher and Morris which was an absolute jaffa clipping the top off stump bail, in between this Joey took a good one handed catch off the skippers bowling.... then the moment of the game Miller skied one off the skippers bowling .... Si Garry Garrard called it then proceeded to somehow get nowhere near it much to the amusement of everyone on the field .... even the skipper ...... that moment allowed Waggy to claim his third with the skip showing Garry how it's done taking the catch to remove Miller.... The skip gave Gibbo a go and he claimed two wickets with crocodile Gardner snatching one and Waggy standing in front of the batsman getting him to give him the simplest of catches.... the final wicket was taken by joey with yet again Badger claiming the catch........ 93 all out the third time in a row the opposition have been bowled out for less than 100........
After what can only be described as a Dodgy Tea..... more on that later the Niffy set about the 94 required..... Sicknote Henfrey didnt trouble the scorers so it was badge and smig to get the ball rolling until badger fell to a good ball for a solid 36 hitting some well timed shots to push the Niffy closer to the score.... Smig then picked out the square leg fielder to allow Garry the chance to finish the game with crocodile Gardner which they duly did with Tom finishing the game in style smashing 2 four's and a six........... another 25 points with once again a solid performance in the field......

Unfortunately it seems that Mr Sicknote Henfrey was responsible for giving over half of the team a stomach bug so with compensation being looked into for loss of earnings/ holidays etc i think the team will be happy he is working this week as i feel retribution may be the order of the day... we have quite the trip this week to Market Overton who we certainly owe one to after the home fixture ....... well the skipper does onwards and upwards we go
