On a green looking wicket after much watering the skipper was given the option to choose what to do first and put the visitor's into bat, the Niffy had to wait until the 5th over for the first wicket when Sharpey finally found his line and length to claim the first of his 2 wickets with Badger holding onto a good chance in Sharpey's 5th over leaving TA on 23-2 then the skipper got amongst the wickets removing Batsmen 4 and 5 with jonny taking an age to hold onto his slip offering and pops holding onto one @ mid on after being asked by the skipper to drop deeper than normal!!, then it became the Waggy show in his forth over he claimed 3 wickets all bowled with the ball seaming both ways leaving the visiting batsmen bewildered, twice Waggy was on hat-trick balls but was unlucky not to claim them, Gibbo got a wicket in his first over with Ed holding onto a good catch on the boundary, Waggy finished off TA in the 26th over claiming his fifth wicket all bowled a tremendous effort finishing with figures of 5-14 off 7 overs TA all out for 56.
Badger and Jonny then made saw there was no drama's like the previous week and knocked off the required runs in just 9 overs.

I do have have to say it is sad to see how TA as a club are on the decline with the committee not backing the people who were trying to send the club forward and are now paying the price........... something that cannot be said about our own club!!

i think we will be in for a tougher game this saturday so hopefully onwards and upwards up the league we will go
