After a morning of heavy rain the ground was in exceptional condition considering all the rain and with the home skipper getting the choice of what to do first karlos asked the visitors to bat first, it was the 10th over when the first wicket was claimed off the skipper's bowling with Jimmy taking the catch the skipper struck again finally getting a LBW decision go his way removing the other Wigston opener, Jimmy replaced the skipper and took his only wicket of the day in his second over, a 70 run partnership then hurt the Niffy but just as the skipper was about to make changes Ash found his lines and in 5 overs claimed 4 wickets with 3 of them being bowled, he avoided buying a jug thou putting a caught and bowled chance down (this before he had claimed a wicket!!) at the other end Happy Meal was keeping tabs with Ash claiming 3 wickets, Wigston were all out for 206, a score that the Niffy felt was catchable.

Unfortunately this wasnt the case, Yorkie losing his wicket with the score on just 13, Deggys was then on the end of a poor umpiring decision being given out LBW with the finger going up before the ball had even hit the pad, Willy was again showing what fine form he is in with the Bat before being run out (he was knackered!!) for a well played 58, Sammy showed why he should bat up the order nudging the ball around for endless singles (19) ending up 40 NO, Muggle was bewildered on being given out unsure how the leg stump bail was knocked off, both Waggy and Ash perished and then the skipper put Matty Sharpe in a tough position playing a dreadful shot first ball trying to get the additional runs to claim more draw points, Luckily Matty stood firm for the last 3 balls so the Niffy at least claimed some draw points,,,,,,,
