Langtons prove to strong

The Niffy skipper once again called corrrectly and put the host's into bat and it seemed the right move as Luke struck second ball proving to be far to quick and then in the next over with the other opener trying to smash sharpey out the ground skied one for the skipper to claim leaving the Langton's on 4-2, Langton's thou dug in and using luke's pace slowly began to find the odd boundary, but nothing to make the Niffy worry, Luke's opening spell of 1-27 from 8 overs along with sharpey's 1-16 off 6 shows this, Hunty replacing Luke made the breakthrough thou with Muggle claiming the first of his two fine catches in the deep, two overs later and another wicket fell with happy meal keeping calm and throwing to the correct end to claim a easy run out leaving the Langton's on 85-4 @ drinks, things then proved to be tough with both sides having to dig in anything short by the bowlers was punished to the short boundary and after claiming the 5th wicket the Langton's skipper along with Altaf to made a good 74 put on a 60 run partnership just as the Niffy had looked to be on top, with Luke and Hunty between them claiming 4 wickets in their end spells the Niffy were hopeful that they may had done enough with the Langtons on 198-8.
After a typical standard Langton's tea Yorkie and Smig set about the opening Langton's bowlers making a solid start until Yorkie playing his trademark shot straight to the Langton's skipper who made no mistake, 32-1, The bowling change at both ends proved to be Niffy's downfall especially with Langton's bowler Adam who claimed 6 wickets for only 33 runs, Smig was unlucky just as again he looked like he was hitting top form, Luke looked rusty but stuck at it until trying to smash Adam out the ground, in between this happy meal had snicked off, Hunty then got ball of the day (so he claims) and pops left a straight one connor then got a golden giving Adam's his 6 wicket haul. This left Muggle and the skipper @ the crease needing just short of 80 off 11, all of a sudden the Niffy started to believe again as the pair started scoring runs at a good pace until the Langton's bought on their moonball bowler which the skippers eyes lit up at went for his trademark sweep and missed, and that sadly bought the game to an end as first Benny and then Muggle perished scoring only another 3 runs.

This defeat needs the Niffy 3rd from bottom so we need to pick ourselves up and get ready for some tough games ahead....
keep being positive and hopefully things will start going our way
