two's regain winning thread

On a day where the weather looked to play a part the skipper won the toss and put the hosts into bat, with Sharpey and the skipper bowling good lines making the batsmen play at most of the deliveries, Big willie put down a chance off the skippers bowling but in his next over the skipper claimed his first wicket with Yorkie taking a very smart catch down the leg side, but even his smart catch was nothing on big Willies stunning catch off sharpey's bowling diving full length taking the catch one handed (Ben Stokes Esq). That one piece of fielding lifted everyone and from there the niffy slowly turned the screw on the home side with the skipper claiming his second tempting Waldron to try and hit across the line with Pops holding onto a good catch. Bowling changes were made with happy meal and badger coming into the attack and again after slightly expensive first overs both bowlers found there line and length causing the home sides batsmen problems,
badger claimed 2 wickets and 1 for happy meal, Benny was given a chance and he struck in his second over with Sharpey taking the chance that came his way, with 2 wickets required the skip bought his self back into the attack claiming a wicket off his first ball and then the final wicket off his first ball of the next over. A solid all round team performance in the field every week the team's fielding improves as does the lines that the bowlers are finding, every wicket except for one were catches, so the Niffy were set a modest target of 107 to win gaining an additional 9 overs in the process, Badger and Yorkie got the side off to a solid start before Tom edged behind, Badger continued to look solid as did smiggler until Badge tried to clip one down leg side rather than smash it and clipped into the keeper's gloves for a well played 34, Big Willie joined Smig at the crease and steered the side to victory, Unfortunately Smig was bowled with only 9 needed but his well played 29 got the niffy almost over the finishing line, Happy Meal joined Willie and made sure there was no rush to get pads on for the other batsmen.
A fine all round performance leaving the skipper very happy, another tough game next week but we go into that game full of confidence
