dropped catches almost prove costly

with Illston turning up with only 9 players it made the game slightly easier for the Niffy and with the skip winning the toss and electing to bat first the Niffy set up a reasonable score of 254-6.Highlights were Deggys scoring a good 68 and Dan scoring a quick 50.
so with only 8 wickers required the Niffy bowlers started off strongly, Joey claiming 4 wickets in his opening spell and muggle claiming his first second team wicket, so with only 3 wickets required and 31 overs to get them the skip rotated his bowlers to try and get them, But then the dropped catches caused heads to drop and Illston dug in batting out over after over without looking to score runs frustrating the Niffy, Finally the break through came thanks to a run out Will doing well to claim the run out from a poor throw, Joey came back into the attack and got his fifth, so one wicket needed and after numerous LBW appeals finally the last wicket fell with the skip holding onto one off rich's bowling. The highlights were Joey's 5-14 off 12 overs, Muggle bowling really well in his first go at opening the bowling for the 2's and rich 6.5 overs 1 wicket no runs, The lows were the dropped catches, we would not of won the game if the opposition had 11 players.
