Rain wins the day

A solid opening partnership of 53 set Countesthorpe up for a decent score, Gaz looked in fine form striking 6 boundaries in his 32 Will offered good support but a middle order collapse gave Ibstock a measure of control their bowling didn't really deserve. Tyler, Graeme and Matt then dug in, all batting sensibly as the recovery mounted. Tyler looked in good form and played the shot of the day hoisting Matt Sharp for an effortless straight 6 only to perish next ball. Matt then took over with some crisp hitting before the rains came.
