Gaz and Tom started well with a partnership of 41 for the first wicket, until Tom was adjudged caught behind, Sy played a glorious cover drive only to pull up lame shortly after and retired hurt, Tommy and Dave both perished, but Ben helped Gaz repair the damage. Gaz departed for a battling 45 as Craig joined Ben
The 100 was slow in coming with the rebuilding that was required, so with 10 over left it was time to cut loose. Craig got off the mark with a 6 and Ben soon found the boundary with nicely timed strokes. Craig then showed his power as Durose's figures suffered, hitting a huge 6 into the next postal code. Ben then departed for an excellent 34 after adding 55 with Craig. Luke soon joined in with the big hitting, Durose being the bowler to suffer, Luke was well held for a quick fire 15 and Craig went the same way for a hard hitting 58 as Countesthorpe closed on 191-8 after a well timed onslaught
Luke was fired up but it was Thorpey who had the dangerous Pandit well caught by Tom G. behind the stumps. Luke then castled Doug Crowley and Richard Newberry in successive deliveries as Ivanhoe slumped to 25-3 Shah and Sam Ward repaired the damage before Toony strangled Shah caught by Ben.
Gaz joined the attack and bowled a great spell, trapping skipper Durose in front, having Moore brilliantly caught by Toony and eventually trimming Ward's off peg after he had looked to be guiding his side to victory. Luke bowled Shortland, but Ivanhoe's last pair survived the final 3 overs to hold out for a draw, finishing on 181-9
