On what was to be a special day in the Niffy calendar anyway (as it was Presidents Day), the Niffy U15's hosted the County Cup final at Bassett Avenue on Sunday 18 August.

In a hard fought game, the boys batted first and posted a decent total of 150. Loughborough Town were on the run rate pretty much all through the innings and needed just 7 runs from the last over to win. However the boys fought exceptionally hard and managed to keep the visitors down to 148 to claim the trophy.

Congratulations to all involved in the team, it is a true testament to the quality we have coming up through our junior set up. Well done boys
