The Club is hosting its annual Presidents Day on Sunday 18th August. The day is for all of our Club members to get together and to have a fun day enjoying what cricket has to offer. Please see attached the poster for the day which provides information. However to provide further details, the plan for the day is as follows:

The Club will be open from 10:30am as the Club's U15 team are playing in the County final. It would be great for you to all come along and support the boys. Following this game, the festivities will start which includes a Kwik Cricket Competition for all of our players aged 11 and under. If any of our juniors would like to take part in the competition then pleae contact James Popplewell at leicspops@hotmail.com to register. The aim is for this competition to start around 12:30.

The main part of the afternoon will include the first Niffy Super 8s competition. The Club is looking for 32 to 40 players to take part in the tournament. This is open to all of our members playing in our U13 teams and above to enter. The Tournament is all inclusive and will include juniors, seniors and our ladies players. The rules of the competition will be explained on the day but if you would like to take part in the tournamen then please contact Joe Thorpe at joethorpe88@hotmail.co.uk to register. It is anticipated that this tournament will start around 1.30-2pm.

In addition to our two competitions, there will be a number of activities with prizes to be won going on throughout the day for everyone to enjoy including, to name a few, Super Star Bowler, Target Hitting, Pool competitions and much more. The BBQ will be going throughout the day and the bar will be open so why not come along to what promises to be a great Club day.

Finally, if you have purchased some raffle tickets can you please make sure that these are returned to the Club as soon as possible as the draw will be made on the day. Of course, if you would like to buy some more, then please let us know.

If you have any queries then please contact either James, Joe or Dave Smith.

We hope to see as many of you there as possible to support YOUR club.
