Who won what this year?

Another season has come to an end and, in true Niffy style, everybody had fun to finish on a high.

The skippers organised the end of season presentation night on 21st September and plenty of players attended ready to celebrate what has been a tough season on the whole. The first team were relegated from Division 2 as were the Third team in Division 6. The Fourth team ended up at the bottom of their league but on a positive note, the Second Team secured promotion back to Division 4.

So, after the attendees got stuck into the food, the evening started with the awards for the U15s. The lads had a good season winning the Cup in a thrilling game against Loughborough Town. The Managers player of the Season was awarded to Ben Taylor who was consistent with the bat and ball throughout. The U17's were next and they also had a good season beating everyone in their league. The Managers Player of the Season was awarded to Nathan Bell, who had an impressive average of 67! All of the junior players in attendance received a medal for this years hard work they all put in.

The ladies team were next. Laura Docherty won the players player and Leanne Barker received the Captains player of the season. The ladies had an interesting season (after withdrawing from the MWL) but they have a great squad who are getting better every week.
