Here is the round up of all things Niffy for this month...
We have committed to spending some money on cleaning the club house following feedback from you, our members. This will involve a 'deep clean' as well as maintaining the general cleanliness of the club. Please could we also remind players to help tidy/sweep the changing rooms when they have finished playing (weekend teams).
We have confirmed our big Centenary Raffle so look out for this in the not too distant future!
We have two new sponsors; Paragon Sales Solutions and RD Dental. The support of these wonderful local businesses is very much appreciated. If you know of a potential new sponsor, please let Meggo or another committee member know.
Socials, we will be running a 'retro shirt night' on Saturday the 14th June (this Saturday). We will also be doing a BINGO night on Friday 11th July. See individual events/posters for details.
The new 100 club season is rapidly approaching, we will be collecting the money a little differently this time. We will be selling numbers via Pitchero instead of bank transfer, this is to encourage new members, however if you have previously paid via bank transfer that's fine you can continue to do so. When it is time for renewal, everyone will see it allocated to them on their account (you do not have to 'buy it' of course) but if you do then good luck and thank you for your support. It has been one of our biggest fundraisers over the last 5/6 years and Stu Palmer has worked tirelessly to keep it running.
We will be repainting the practice nets which will hopefully lead to better training sessions, this may mean that the nets are out of action for a day or two, sorry if this affects your training session!
Finally, this month's club person of the month is Stewart Crowdell who on top of his age group coaching and managing the team, gave up his time to lead a fantastic session for Countesthorpe Cubs this week and is doing the same in two weeks time. An excellent session enjoyed by all; who knows, this could be the origin story of the next Ben Stokes, Harry Brooke, Joe Root or Jimmy Anderson!?
