The Leicestershire & Rutland ACO are looking at putting on an introductory umpiring course on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Likely to be 15th or 16th April, venue TBC.

The course will be focused towards equipping players to umpire pairs cricket – whether that be women’s softball, Super 8’s or junior cricket. It will be open to anyone interested in supporting their clubs with these formats and will focus on the role of an umpire, modes of dismissal, wides, no balls, signals and safe positioning with limited attention given to LBW (as generally not an issue in these formats).
