Congratulations go to our very own Kate Measures who was the winner of the 2025 Sport and Physical Activity Volunteer of the Year at the Blaby District Council Community Awards.

You will have seen Kate around the club regularly whether it is spearheading the junior section, working tirelessly on the committee - and now having taken on the role of secretary, helping to organise social events or helping out with the general running of the club and undertaking many unseen jobs, such as helping out with cleaning of the clubhouse and ordering in bar stock.

Without Kate's hard work the club would not be able to run as it does, and the junior section wouldn't function.

Again we sat a massive thank you to Kate, and a congratulations on this well deserved award!
