As we approach this year's AGM, we are inviting members to consider whether they would like to play a more active role in the future of Countesthorpe Cricket Club by joining either the Board of Directors or the Management Committee.
Like all successful community sports clubs, Countesthorpe Cricket Club relies on volunteers who are willing to contribute their time, skills and experience. Behind every training session, match day, social event and club improvement project is a team of people working to ensure the club remains well-run, financially secure and sustainable for future generations.
Our governance structure is designed to ensure the club is managed responsibly and continues to grow, but that can only happen if members are prepared to get involved. Fresh ideas, new perspectives and a willingness to contribute are essential if we are to continue developing the club, supporting our junior and senior sections, improving facilities and maintaining the welcoming environment that makes Countesthorpe Cricket Club such a special place.
Whether you have experience in leadership, finance, administration, marketing, events, fundraising, facilities management, safeguarding, sport, or simply a passion for the club and a desire to help, we would encourage you to consider putting yourself forward.
Nominations for both the Board of Directors and the Management Committee must be received before the AGM, and we would be particularly pleased to hear from members who have not previously served in these roles.
If you are interested, would like to nominate yourself, or would simply like to find out more about what is involved, please contact:
countesthorpecricketclub@outlook.com
Deadline for expressions of interest and nominations: Friday 23 October
For more information regarding the governance structure of the Club please see the attached document. If you have any queries then please contact a member of the Board or the Committee, details can be found HERE
The long-term success of the club depends on members stepping forward to help lead and support it. If you care about the future of Countesthorpe Cricket Club, please consider whether you could play a part in helping us continue to thrive both on and off the field.
Together, we can ensure the club remains strong, sustainable and successful for many years to come.
