Womens Midlands League

Niffy ladies make history..

Following the Womens Midlands League AGM on 14th November, the Niffy ladies application to join the WML was accepted.

As a result the ladies have continued to help the Club move forward and make Club history by being the first Countesthorpe Ladies team to enter the league.

The team will play in both a 40 over league competition, which will start in July along with four Sundays which form part of the Super 8's competition.

Now that the Club is part of the WML, the team is still looking to increase its number of players so if you know any ladies that would like to at least give it a go then please invite them along to the teams indoor training at Countesthorpe College on Sunday evenings, 7-8pm.

Congratulations to the Niffy Ladies, or should we say the Countesthorpe Comets!
