ECB Guidance updated.

The ECB updated its guidance on 17th May when they country entered into Step 3 of the roadmap. We have reviewed this document fully to make sure that the Club not only complies with its legal obligations, but so that our members and guests are kept safe when visiting CCC sites. So, after reviewing the updated guidance fully and making amendments to the necessary documentation, please see attached copies of the relevant documents, which we NEED YOU to review and follow (as they have been updated), being:

- CCC Practice Rules- for Step 3; and

- CCC Match Day Rules- for Step 3; and

- (If you play for the 3rd and 4th team) CCC Match Day Rules at Gilmorton- for Step 3;

We have also attached the risk assessments prepared by the Club for both Bassett Avenue and Gilmorton but it is really important that for now, you review the Practice and Match Day Rules and adhere to them. We can assure you that as much as you enjoy reading them, we enjoy preparing them!

As before, you will need to continue to book in to attend training before you attend any sessions so we can monitor the number of people at the ground. The Cub's booking system is via the website/ Pitchero Club App. More information is set out in the Practice Rules.

At present, the rules that the Club have prepared simply relate to Step 3, which we will remain in place until further notice.

To summarise the key changes and points:

Spectators
- Spectators are permitted at organised cricket activities (which includes games and training). Spectators must observe social distancing and legal gathering size limits (groups of up to 30 outdoors). Outdoors, multiple groups of 30 (with no interaction among different groups) are permitted.

Track and Trace
- As Countesthorpe Cricket Club is NOT a public open space, we have a duty to ensure that we record attendance of those interacting with the Club's facilities.
- At present, the Club House remains closed except for use of the toilets and seating in the function room (but only when the bar is open). If you do enter the Club House, have a drink in the function room when the bar is open, use the seats provided in front of the Club House or interact with any other Club owned or operated facilities then you are required to register your attendance at the Club via one of the QR Codes (the NHS Track and Trace App or, if you do not have this, the Sprout website- these posters are all around the ground.
- Please note that if you are part of any organised cricket activity and a member of the Club (players, umpires, scorers or coaches) you DO NOT need to record your attendance as this will be done via the Pitchero App by either the Captains or the Coaches at the cricket activity.
- Any opponents, other officials who are not a member of the Club do however need to register their attendance at the Club

Hospitality
- Indoor and outdoor hospitality facilities will now be open (as soon as we source a barperson). Indoor seats are restricted to 36.
- Customers must be seated and maximum numbers around a table are 6 people or 2 households (a support bubble counts as a single household).
- Customers will be required to order, be served and eat/drink while seated
- Bar rules have been prepared (and are set out in the rules) and must be followed

Changing Rooms
- The changing rooms and showers remain closed. Please use the Gazebos provided when at Bassett Avenue.

Travel
- Car sharing is now permitted for sport in accordance with the latest UK Government guidance on public transport and car sharing.

Cricket Teas
- Cricket teas will not be provided during matches. Please continue to bring your own food and drink

A great deal of work has been put in by the Club’s volunteers, so hopefully you will all appreciate the effort that has been put in. Please continue to support them and the Club simply by following the rules.
