Updated guidance and documents.

The ECB updated its guidance on 12th April and we have been considering this fully. So, after reviewing the updated guidance fully and making amendments to the necessary documentation, please see attached copies of the relevant documents, which we NEED YOU to review and follow (as they have been updated), being:

- CCC Practice Rules- for Step 2; and

- CCC Match Day Rules- for Step 2

We have also attached the risk assessment prepared by the Club but it is really important that for now, you review the Practice and Match Day Rules and adhere to them.

As before, you will need to continue to book in to attend training before you attend any sessions so we can monitor the number of people at the ground. The Cub's booking system is via the website/ Pitchero Club App. More information is set out in the Practice Rules.

At present, the rules that the Club have prepared simply relate to Step 2, which we will remain in place until further notice and we await a further update on 17th May (subject to everything going smoothly).

As a reminder, the Club House will only be open for toilet facilities. To clarify the rules regarding the spectators, track and trace and the bar:

Spectators
- Spectators are not currently permitted at organised cricket activities (which includes games and training).
- However, this does not apply to carers for people with disabilities, or adults needed to supervise under-18s in a safeguarding role.
- An example of a safeguarding issue is where a child feels unduly anxious because their parent/guardian/carer is not close by. If this is the case, a single suitable adult can be in attendance at the child's activities if required. If the parent/guardian/carer is able to, it would be preferable for them to stay in their car.
- If you do need to be in attendance close by, those supervising adults should not mix with others from outside their household or support bubble and remain socially distanced.
- To confirm, individuals arriving with the SOLE PURPOSE of watching the cricket are NOT allowed.

Track and Trace
- As Countesthorpe Cricket Club is NOT a public open space, we have a duty to ensure that we record attendance of those interacting with the Club's facilities.
- At present, the Club House remains closed except for use of the toilets. If you do enter the Club House, use the seats provided in front of the Club House or interact with any other Club owned or operated facilities then you are required to register your attendance at the Club via one of the QR Codes (the NHS Track and Trace App or, if you do not have this, the Sprout website- these posters are all around the ground.
- Please note that if you are part of any organised cricket activity and a member of the Club (players, umpires, scorers or coaches) you DO NOT need to record your attendance as this will be done via the Pitchero App by either the Captains or the Coaches at the cricket activity.
- Any opponents, other officials who are not a member of the Club do however need to register their attendance at the Club

Hospitality
- Indoor hospitality facilities must remain closed at Step 2
- As we have outdoor seating, we can reopen (but have not yet as we are still making plans) to serve customers in groups of up to 6 people or 2 households
- Customers will be required to order, be served and eat/drink while seated
- At present, the Club's bar remains closed whilst we make arrangements to comply with the rules. You will all be notified once the bar is reopened.

A great deal of work has been put in by the Club’s volunteers, so hopefully you will all appreciate the effort that has been put in. Please continue to support them and the Club simply by following the rules.
