Volunteering- Get Involved

Volunteering in cricket is hugely rewarding. Whether you are just starting out, or having been volunteering for years, we are always looking to get more people involved. Countesthorpe is run entirely by volunteers and so the more help we can get, the better we can make the game for all at the Club.

Volunteers make a huge difference to the provision and quality of cricket. At Countesthorpe, we are committed to recruiting and retaining volunteers to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Club.

The Club is structured in a way that enables a number of people to give a small amount of time so that it is run effectively. Many hands make light work and if we all gave a little, this would really help the longevity of the Club for all of its members and the community.

Even for those who don't want to play the game, there are many opportunities to get involved within the Club. We have set out the current vacant roles below which include:

  • Vice Chairperson
